How to Love Your Refugee Neighbor Join Friends of Refugees for an evening of conversation, a panel discussion, and prayer. Learn how changes in refugee policies may impact New Americans and gain insight into ways to love our refugee neighbors. Leave inspired with practical ideas for how you, your family, and your community can love our refugee neighbors well. Be sure to have each attendee reserve a ticket. Mature middle school students and older are welcome to join the conversation. Childcare reservations for children, ages 3 months- 5th grade can be made up until one week before the event. Optional Community Meal: for those who can stay, we will have a meal directly after the event. Individuals and families are welcome to continue conversations over a meal. Support local refugee catering businesses in the Clarkston community by reserving a meal. Vegetarian options are available. Recommended donation of $15 per person to cover the cost of the meal. Registration closes March 8th.
